In 2009, one of my best friends told me she was having a baby. I was so excited and wanted to do something special for her. Why I decided to make a baby quilt, I don't know. At the time, my sewing skills were limitted to hemming pants. So, armed with a hand-me-down sewing machine, a ruler, and a pair of scissors I set out to create the image of a quilt I had in my head. I had no idea what I was doing, but I learned along the way and enjoyed every minute of it. I kept learning about sewing and started branching out beyond just making quilts.
Now, with a new sewing machine and more tools of the trade, I've turned my hobby into a business and I'm still enjoying every minute of it.
